The RIFT'S official music video is intended to be be a homage to Stanley Kubrick's iconic movie: 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968) merged with criticism to modern day space tourism programs and entertainment propaganda.

The official music video displays the desperate attempt of a lab rat to break out of an evil laboratory. Video director and bassist of the band Ricardo Paz claims: "It is a metaphor for the title and content of the lyrics, it's a breakout on several levels, if you know what I mean."
